RETURNS AND EXCHANGES


Do we accept returns and exchanges? Of course! In the event you need to make a return or exchange, please email hello@rheosgear.com within 30 days and follow a few simple prompts to purchase your return label (7USD). Once approved we will email you a return label. You can send your return back in its original box or one similar and once we receive it we will issue a refund. Please be aware a return/exchange is only considered valid if it is received within 15 business days from the date the return label was created. If you are exchanging, the exchange will be processed once we receive the return. All orders are returnable within the first 30 days for any size, fit, or style reason as long as they are returned in new and re-sellable condition. Refunds/exchanges are not guaranteed. 

International returns and exchanges must be sent back through a carrier of your choice as we are unable to send a return label. 

1 YEAR FRAME WARRANTY


We provide a one year limited manufacturer's warranty supporting all aspects of the frame resulting from non-accidental damage with proof of photo. Translation: If there's something wrong with your shades, we'll make it right for you. Warranty replacements may be subject to fees for shipping and fulfillment of approximately $20 anywhere in the United States (international shipping may vary). 

LENS WARRANTY - OUR SALTWATER PROMISE


With high scratch and chemical resistance, our Nylon Optics stand up to the grittiest sea salt with proper care. They're rated for 120 hours of continuous exposure to humidity and saltwater, this is the highest in the industry. This means they're strong but sometimes mother earth is stronger and it doesn't mean they're indestructible.

If you have a lens issue, we have you covered with our 1-year Saltwater Promise lens replacement program. Warranty replacements may be subject to fees for shipping and fulfillment of approximately $20 anywhere in the United States (international shipping may vary). However, we have you totally covered within the first 30 days of purchase! 

Here are some suggestions for how to protect your shade’s lenses in the future:

-After use in salt water, rinse with fresh water before wiping the lenses down

-Take care not to use certain apparel with anti-odor materials (often containing silver) that can wear away at the lenses

-Avoid leaving your shades in high heat and cold areas such as the dashboard of your vehicle or boat

LOSS+ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE REPLACEMENT POLICY


We also want you to be comfortable taking your shades to go and play! Should any accidental damage or loss happen, shoot us a note and we look into free replacement parts or hook you up with a 30% discount for a replacement. This can be done one time per order placed originally through our website or orders placed with our Rheos marketplace account directly on Amazon. International orders may have additional shipping costs. 

Please email hello@rheosgear.com from the email address associated with your account with a confirmed shipping address, the style/colorway that needs to be replaced, and a photo of the damage for our records to initiate a warranty claim.

Frequently asked questions about returns, refunds, and exchanges.

How do I return?

  • Email hello@rheosgear.com
  • Enter your order number and email address to start.
  • Follow the instructions and select the items you want to return.
  • Once approved, a return label will be emailed to you.
  • There is a 15 day window from the date the label was created to the date we receive the return for it to be considered valid for a refund.

What items are returnable? 

  • Within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • In new and re-sellable condition.
  • In the original packaging with all the tags intact.
  • Damaged items will not receive a refund or exchange.

The item I received is damaged!

If the purchased product is faulty, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivered date.

Can the items be exchanged?

Exchanges are based on availability and must be within 30 days from the date of delivery. The exchange will be processed once we receive the return. 

What are the refund options?

The following refund options are supported:

  • Refund to the original payment method
  • Exchange

How do I ship back the items?

We will email your return label upon approval. Simply print it out, package your items, and drop at any USPS location.

How soon will I get my refund?

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via an email. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 5 - 7 working days after approval.
