What makes this a special place to connect with nature?

I moved to Telluride from Aspen, CO with my parents when I was about a year old. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to call this place home. The privilege of growing up in Telluride and being able to create such incomparable experiences is something I cherish every single day.

Favorite memory here?

This is a difficult question because I can hardly narrow it down to one single memory. Out of countless memories of Telluride, my happiest and most favorite moment would be watching the most amazing "snow-bow" on the porch of the Giuseppe's restaurant at the top of lift 9 during a phenomenal powder day, considerably one of the best days I've had at Telluride Ski Resort. I enjoyed a plate of delicious blackened chicken pasta with some close friends while this 360 rainbow formed above us as the clouds cleared out. It was a truly magical scene.

What superlative would you give Telluride, CO?

Tell us about yourself!

I was born and raised in Telluride, Colorado. I'm a student, environmentalist, aspiring photographer, and explorer. I've been enjoying the wonderful outdoors my entire life. From climbing and fishing in the San Juan Mountains, to backpacking in nearby Utah and Arizona, there are many places I enjoy about the nature and the beauty of the world. My ability to observe large and small details combined with a passion for the environment has molded me into a talented landscape photographer. With my lens, I have explored the United States and Europe. Photographing during my junior year abroad in Denmark, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a culture and that was liberating to my creative impulses. I currently attend Lake Forest College, north of Chicago, and I'm majoring in environmental studies. I hope to make many positive impacts on the world one step at a time.
