Rheos is on a mission to help you make every day more exciting by discovering, enjoying, and creating more memories outdoors. Less than one year ago, we set out to found a company that brings people closer to the outdoors through high-quality, affordable gear. So far, we have only begun to scratch the surface. And it all began on a roadtrip in an airstream.

Earlier this summer, we partnered with two phenomenal organizations to bring our first product to market – extremely durable, interchangeable sunglasses. A portion of sales from local retailers supports the missions of these incredible nonprofits – Extra Special People in the Athens, GA area and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership. From bringing outdoor adventure to a summer camp for kids with special needs, to supporting Atlanta’s most comprehensive revitalization effort ever undertaken, we're proud to be a part of these journeys.
Through this impact program, we’re able to help the nonprofits we love while also supporting our local small businesses. We’re pretty stoked about it, and if you live in Georgia make sure you pick up your next pair of shades at one of our participating retailers including Dolphin Dive Center, Empire South Clothier, Cheeky Peach, Jake's Ice Cream and Powerhouse Skates, among others.
Rheos Eastern Clays Meet Red Rocks

Things are moving forward fast, and we’re not slowing down any time soon. Our name itself is Greek for river current, which reminds us each day to seek and embrace change and that mantra has prepared us for the journey ahead. As we finish the designs of our new product line for 2016, we’re departing on a nearly three-month tour across the US to discover more of our beautiful country and to refine our products with direct feedback from other explorers.
Our sole focus is to thoughtfully design gear to be waterproof, dust proof, shock proof, and, well, you-proof. This gear ranges from floatable and polarized eyewear to waterproof electronics, waterproof gear packs, and more.
If you’re curious for more we will be sharing our full trip route with you soon as well as sneak peeks into new gear and partnerships. When we’re not outside exploring, we’ll be working from a classic 31’ Airstream trailer – so if you see a silver bullet cruise by, say hello!
