Our standard warranty includes:
- 1-Year Frame Warranty: Covers manufacturer defects for one year (non-accidental damage). One claim allowed per pair with photo evidence required.
- 1-Year Lens Warranty (Saltwater Promise): Covers manufacturer-related lens issues for one year.
For both frame and lens replacements, a $20 processing and shipping fee applies within the U.S. (international fees may vary). Replacement arms are only $5 and include a screwdriver and new screw.
Our Saltwater Promise is a 1-year lens warranty designed for life on and around the water. Our ultra-durable HydroClear lenses offer high scratch and chemical resistance—specifically engineered to withstand up to 120 hours of continuous saltwater and humidity exposure, the highest rating in the industry.
If you experience a lens issue due to normal use within the first year, we’ve got you covered.
Within 30 days of purchase: Replacements are completely free.
After 30 days: You may be responsible for a $20 shipping and fulfillment fee (U.S. only; international rates may vary).

Sun Collective members receive extended 2-year protection that includes limited accidental damage coverage, making it ideal for active lifestyles on and around the water. Sat on 'em? Scratched the lens on the bottom of the pool? You can take 30% off your already discounted member price, bringing your replacement to just $45.50 (same sku only). Not included in our standard warranty.
If the scratch results from a manufacturing issue, yes. Otherwise, scratches from wear and tear, salt abrasion, or improper care aren’t covered. Members can still access discounted replacement pricing through the Oops Program (30% off your already discounted price!).
To keep your shades in great shape:
- Rinse with fresh water after exposure to saltwater before wiping
- Avoid wiping with apparel that contains anti-odor (silver) materials
- Don’t leave them in extreme heat or cold, especially on dashboards or boat surfaces
- Carry them in your included hard case or travel case (free for Sun Collective members)
