Yosemite. The name itself instantly conjures images of massive granite rock faces, breathtaking landscapes, and flowing waterfalls. It is the mecca for rock climbers and a prime destination for hikers and US wonders. Visitors in the park range from Bay area weekenders to global explorers. The park hosts nearly 4 million visitors a year in its 800,000 acres of trails, streams, and rock faces. The most visited area is the 7 mile Yosemite Valley section with sights including El Capitan, the 3,000 foot climbing wall, and the most famous formation, Half Dome. The entire valley was shaped over thousands of years by rivers and glacial melts. Many of the sites are breathtaking and have left us a bit speechless, so we'd thought we'd just share a few of our favorite exposures. Enjoy!
